The diagrams illustrate a harbour in 2000 and its current appearance.  

Overall, Porth Harbour has one main road running from north to south and a small road on the south side. Today, the harbour has become more built-up, with additional facilities such as a new hotel and shops to serve a larger number of people.   

Going along the main road on the western side of the harbor, people can access showers, toilets, and a car park located next to the area of the fishing boats, which used to be a marina for private yachts in 2000. A new dock has been added next to fishing boats to welcome more passenger ferries. The public beach area on the northeast end of the harbour remains the same today.  

On the southeast peninsula, the disused castle in 2000 has been converted into a hotel, which is now connected to the small road with a new lane. In front of the hotel, the public beach in 2000 has become a private beach for the hotel guests only. Across from the small road, there are new cafés and shops, next to the lifeboat area, which stays unchanged. To the southwest of Porth Harbour today, a new shower and toilets area sits between the main road and the marina, which used to be an area for fishing boats. The southern car park has been linked to the main road instead of the smaller road, as in 2000.
